What are your views on the general principles of the Bill and the need for legislation to deliver the Welsh Government’s stated policy objective (to make the Senedd a more effective legislature by ensuring it is broadly representative of the gender make-up of the population)?

I am opposed to the Bill as it isn't clear that places will be on the basis of sex.  Unless that is stipulated it means, in theory, 50% of the 'women' could in fact be biological men!  In addition, I just want the best people for the job regardless of sex.

What are your views on the system of enforcement and potential sanctions for non-compliance proposed in the Bill?

This means that a biological man could say he is a woman and that won't be checked out.  It also means that a biological male with a GRC can say he is 'legally' a woman and that won't be challenged either.  So there is absolutely no point in asking if someone is a woman and not investigating that they are telling the truth or not.

Are there any potential barriers to the implementation of the Bill’s provisions? If so, what are they, and are they adequately taken into account in the Bill and the accompanying Explanatory Memorandum and Regulatory Impact Assessment?

No-one will take it seriously unless the Assembly ensures that 50% are biological women.  If you're going to implement this measure at least do it properly.

Are any unintended consequences likely to arise from the Bill?

Yes - 100% biological men making up the Assembly and then subjecting us to the virtual signalling and congratulatory back slapping while we are lied to that 50% of the Welsh Assembly are women!

What are your views on the Welsh Government’s assessment of the financial and other impacts of the Bill?

So much money is being wasted by the Welsh Assembly.  Why is money being spent on these matters when we all want a decent ambulance service?  My elderly mother had a fall immediately after being sent home from hospital far too soon.  It was an amber alert and we waited 16 hours for an ambulance to arrive. She then spent over 4 hours in the ambulance outside the hospital.  She was 98.

What are your views on the balance between the information contained on the face of the Bill and what is left to subordinate legislation? Are the powers for Welsh Ministers to make subordinate legislation appropriate?

Do you have any views on matters relating to the legislative competence of the Senedd including compatibility with the European Convention on Human Rights?

Do you have any views on matters related to the quality of the legislation, or to the constitutional or other implications of the Bill?

Are there any other issues that you would like to raise about the Bill and the accompanying Explanatory Memorandum or any related matters?

Anything else?
